Well, I just wanted to let everybody know that I am still alive. I am very busy, so I just can't find time and energy to update the site. But I am still here, still lovin' Mariah and looking forward to the new album.
This site wil move in a few weeks to another server, but that shouldn't bother anyone, 'cause you'll never notice it =)

Update
I updated the trade collection, becuase I've been trading with a lot of people the last few weeks. I've added some new items and scrapped some others which weren't in good or mint condition.
I also added an Excel document of my own collection, so you people can view what I have [or miss]. I think it'll be easier for future trading. I still intend to complete the my collection section, but I just haven't got he time right now.

I added the Muisc Box album and singles to my collection. Plus I've become a member of the Collectors Club. A club for people like me who collect Mariah material in a semi-professional way... =) [Didn't even know it existed!!!]

This girl, like Mariah, is a real talent. Real talents deserve support!!!

Being a fan for almost a decade, I had very high expectations for this show. And I surely haven't been let down. At first I was just blown away by Mariah's appearance. She really is as beautiful and tall as she always appears in magazines and on CD covers. After that I needed a couple of minutes to realize that it was really her, it seemed totally un-real. When I calmed down a little I just kept thinking: 'Wow!'. She had an amazing voice. I knew that already, but to hear such a voice live, for the first time in your live, is surreal.
The show was set in a circus setting. I thought this was very well chosen. It gave Mariah a chance to combine the serious side of her songs with the playful style she also controls. The stage was lighted with tons of tiny lights together with a few big spots on some various backgrounds, which led to an ever changing setting of the show.
The set list was a very well chosen balance between Mariah's earlier works together with her latest material from her 'Charmbracelet' album. Although there were no 'dead' points in the show, there were certainly a couple of highlights: Without you [which was the people's choice], My Saving Grace, Subtle Invitation, Always Be My Baby, Vision of Love and the closing song Hero were all enchanting.
Enchanted I was for sure. For two hours I didn't think of anything, I just let the music overwhelm me. For two hours there was nothing wrong with the world we are living in. And together with me, there were about 10,000 others. I've seen all sorts of people, all there for just one reason: the music.
I am sure there will be tons of negative reviews for this concert, but I can tell you this: If you would have been there, you would have fallen in love with Mariah in a few minutes. And if you been there, you have been one of the lucky people to witness this special night. It had been seven years since her last show in the Neterlands, let's just hope she will come back before 2010.
